June Recap - Overfly came a long way in one month. Overfly is aiming high in July and August to prepare for a fall landing. They cannot wait for everyone to experience the depth and power of Overfly. Their set list is driven and fun. As a band, they are trying to incorporate as many elements of their influences into their music as well as combining some of their own. Jet Black, an Overfly original, is electrifying!
Overfly Rehearsals - Overfly has been adding new songs to their song set all summer long. Their set list features "Jet Black" an old original song and the brand new "In The Shade". They are excited about their selection of cover tunes as well from popular bands such as: Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Live, Guns'N Roses, Bush, Nirvana, and more!
Tour Bus and Lights - Overfly has been entertaining the idea of possibly attaining a tour bus to assist them this year. They are in the process of weighing the positive and negative factors of using a bus on tour. Drummer Louis Berry announced that he has a lighting rig which will accompany the band on stage in future shows.
Line in the Sand - Singer/guitarist Brian Weaks has decided to work on his other project Line in the Sand which is an acoustic rock band geared more to his original songs but covering other similar popular artists. A new Line in the Sand web page is under construction. Bassist Carrie Crane is entertaining the idea of double duty as well but has not yet made a commitment. Line in the Sand intends on opening for select Overfly shows. Dylan Weaks will be the official drummer for the band. Brian Weaks announced that Overfly will be his first priority.
